Arts Impact Bringing Learning To Life Through Art Arts Impact programs include performances, workshops, residencies, and camps focused on the contemporary arts.

Arts Impact is a 501(c)(3) organization and a collective of contemporary artists with a deep commitment to dynamic arts education. We seek to make the arts accessible to students of all ages regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, education, or income level. Arts Impact has served approximately 30,000 students in schools, community centers, libraries, and other community spaces. Our work is bu

- Teaching in and through the contemporary arts and 21st century media expands the field of arts education and taps into diverse learning styles;

- Harnessing the artistic expressions of hip-hop culture as a platform for positive self-expression and critical media literacy is an essential component of an expanded arts education field;

- Nurturing creativity through arts education builds critical thinking, creative problem solving, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills;

- Integrating contemporary arts and media with STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics] subjects is a powerful way to increase academic rigor and encourage complex problem solving in a real world context.

Congratulations to Arts Impact contract artist-educator, .jamespeake for being featured in the Morgan Conservatory’s 14th Annual Juried Exhibition. The show titled “A Hand of One’s Own” highlights paper as a creative medium and active substrate.
