Cleveland VOTES WHAT WE DO. We build upon the relationships nonprofits already have with the people they serve. OUR MISSION. To learn more, you can visit clevotes.com.

Cleveland VOTES is a nonpartisan, democracy-building movement that works to reconstruct and strengthen power through active participation of our collective partners. This enables us--in partnership with the community--to galvanize citizens in low-income or hard to reach communities to increase equitable civic engagement, democracy building, and voter participation & efforts for fair elections. Guided by a system of networks, we promote informed, action-oriented mobilization that shifts power towards Equitable Civic Engagement and Infrastructure.

OUR VISION. Our collective work will power a transformation toward a more liberated future, offering access to tools that produce increased efforts in civic education, engagement, and advocacy. We will work with intentionality to amplify the voices of our neighbors, ensuring we have a more informed, participatory, and cohesive community. Cleveland VOTES looks forward to building democracy with you. NOTE: Due to the amount of spam messages we receive on Facebook Messenger, we do not respond to messages on this platform. Cleveland VOTES award-winning documentary series is back with its 2026 installment, Voting in the Land: Dignity on the Ballot. This year’s documentary explores the experiences of Clevelanders navigating the voting process while facing homelessness or housing insecurity. Through storytelling, we’re bringing overlooked perspectives into the conversation and exploring how civic engagement impacts our communities in different ways.

Join us, October 28th, 6–8 pm, for the film premiere, a get-out-the-vote conversation, and an opportunity to connect with community partners working to make a difference.

“Good art with a message incites these emotions in you…”

Every finished piece has a story. But that story doesn't start with the final product. For the 2026 Creative Impact Network, Cleveland VOTES partnered with Cleveland photojournalist Michael Indriolo to document the creative process, capturing the conversations, experimentation, reflection, and collaboration that helped bring each artist's vision to life.

Because creative activism lives in the process just as much as it does in the finished work.
