As we know, tonight will be the 27th Night of Ramadan, most commonly observed as Laylatul Qadr by the majority of the ummah (though it could be any other odd night)
We know this night is greater than 1000 months, something that can make us millionaires when it comes to "muslimoney" aka, good deeds!
With that being said, though we will strive in salah, recitation of the Quran, dhikr, and staying in the masjid from isha to fajr, we often forget an important pillar to a well-rounded set of worship, that is charity
For those who do not know, Cleveland has been a roller coaster when it comes to stable ilm, and we have seen it with masjid politics, disregard for scholars, and lack of value for the Islamic sciences.
Many of us strive to live in a city where we can be comfortable as Muslims and be able to learn our deen. To be like cities like Chicago and New York, where Muslims are pillars in the community.
And that cannot happen without proper Islamic Knowledge, our community lacks that. Our community lacks those carriers of the Quran who can be the next imams of taraweeh, instead of having to rely on a select few who will be gone before we know it.
A city where a number of our youngsters do not know basic values or essentials of worship. A city where our future generations will become just Muslim by name.
Hence why in order to make Cleveland that city of light we hope for, we must support those individuals who are working to bring those resources.
So, for those who have benefitted directly from Shaykh Musa, from our very own MSA, or even enjoy praying taraweeh at ICC or ISAK, I highly recommend you all donate to Knowman Learning
Where tens of kids are memorizing the Quran and learning the essential Islamic knowledge.
Who will be raised to be the leaders and preservers of the deen here in Cleveland. They will be the next imams at taraweeh, the next people who will give lectures at programs, the next teachers of ilm.
In other words, the fate of our Islamic future here in Cleveland in the next 10 to 20 years, really does depend on these children!
So do donate to Knowman Learning to allow them to continue this work and provide classes. InshaAllah, with your help, it can grow and we can eventually even be amongst those select few - if Allah wills.
If you still are not convinced, the Nabi ﷺ said “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.”
If you cannot be a hafiz or someone learned, you can at least hold some stock in it by funding even a few dollars to this campaign! Your salah, your dhikr, and your recitation of the Quran will all stop once you die.
But your Continuous Charity and your aid to others will not! So make sure you earn your passive (Islamic) income!
Kindly support their love and joy of memorizing the Qur'an.
