When you think about a VFW Post home you think of coming together with veterans, sharing stories, making lifelong friends, conducting fundraisers and volunteering in the community. I would like to brag on my officers and members of VFW Post 11160 and District 6. I want to personally thank SR. VIce Cmdr. Jason Markum, Jr. Vice Cmdr, Shawn Olson, these two have stepped up to the plate as per our oath of office during this time. These elite men and woman bonded together and surrounded me with nothing but upmost respect after my current cancer diagnosis. I am completely honored by your fundraiser you allowed to happen on my behalf. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I am truly grateful. Thank you Dawn for donating your time to baking all the amazing deserts and the beautiful setup you provided. Thank you to the Auxiliary who volunteered to help set up our district meal and work so hard behind the scenes, I appreciate your efforts more than you know, without you we would not be the same.

CMDR,
Brandy Barnes
