We are so excited to announce that the start date for the TEIS Extended Option is October 15, 2022! We’re preparing for the start of our extended program by continuing to work with our community partners and families.

Families: You can learn more about what the TEIS Extended Option might mean for you and your child by watching the recording of our family focused webinar. We will host a second webinar for families in September, so you have more opportunities to ask questions.

Providers: Don’t forget to tune into our TEIS Extended Option webinar for providers on July 29th from 12 to 1 p.m. CST. Get the details on how to join on our TEIS Extended Option webpage.

The TEIS Extended Option allows current TEIS families to continue receiving TEIS services beyond age 3 if the child is determined eligible for special education services in their local school district. This extension gives families an additional option to consider as they help their children develop and prepare for school.
