Thanks for the shoutout, Kiwanis International! We are proud of the work our Club is able to do in the Clarksville community because of the funds raised during our Bill Hoy Kiwanis Rodeo each May.

Clarksville Kiwanis Club just wrapped up its 37th annual Bill Hoy Kiwanis Rodeo, featuring three days of action in the arena that included eight different highly skilled events, a clown, bullfighters, trick roping and trick riding, great food, and plenty more. Today we welcomed Josh Burch and Seth Minnick with the The Honor Foundation. Josh and Seth told us about how The Honor Foundation helps support a service member transition out of military service into civilian life. THF partners with local businesses as well. Today we heard from Randy Davis, President of Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital. He shared with us about the acquisition, the current state, and the changes ahead for the Clarksville location.

Yesterday, our Club celebrated its 106th anniversary, and we were fortunate to have 23 past presidents in attendance.

Congratulations to our 2026 Kiwanis Scholarship Winner, Emily Lanier. She is a recent graduate of Rossview High Hawks and has a laundry list of volunteer and club engagements, including numerous events for our club.

Emily will attend Austin Peay State University in the fall.

We gave out free copies of Chris Grabenstein's book, "Cindersmella" to more than 3,200 CMCSS students!

Today members Dan Black and Key Club advisor Christopher Lanier attended the Rossview High Hawks Key Club meeting. Treasurer Dan Black presented the Rossview Key Club with a check from the proceeds from their sales of Smoked Turkeys from our club’s fundraising project. They are donating it to the Ronald McDonald House, one of the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Key Club International’s preferrred charities that they support. Thank you Rossview Key Club in serving the children of our community and the world.
