School Store registration has officially ended, and our Book Buddies have all officially made their way to their new homes!

Don’t forget! The School Store is open throughout the entire school year! Families, you can continue shopping and earning prizes through your purchases. Any prizes earned through School Store purchases or gift cards will be delivered to the school as soon as they are received and will then be sent home with your student.

And don’t forget to stop by and take a picture with the cute otter!

Our PTO, administration, and students have been enjoying our School Store photo spot featuring our adorable advertising otter!

Next time you’re bringing your child into school, stop by, snap a photo, and tag us!

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY!

The students have been having so much fun receiving their Book Buddies!

Tomorrow is the final day to receive a book buddy since there is no school on Friday.

If your K-4 student hasn’t completed the requirement yet, there’s still time! Reach out to friends and family to help get those 8 emails submitted so they can receive their Book Buddy!

Barsanti Families,

We wanted to clear up a little confusion about the Book Buddies and how students can receive one through our School Store Fundraiser!

Pre-K:
Pre-K students are not able to participate in fundraisers this year due to changes in their program rules. We didn’t want them to be left out. With approval from Principal Burba, all Pre-K students were provided a Book Buddy without needing to complete the email requirement.

K–4th students:
To receive a Book Buddy through the School Store Fundraiser, students need to have 8 emails entered through the fundraiser website.

On Monday, K–4 students were sent home with a lanyard containing the QR code and all the information needed to participate and earn their Book Buddy.

Our School Store fundraiser begins tomorrow, August 31st!

This is a great opportunity to support Barsanti Elementary while shopping through the school store. More information and instructions on how to participate can be found in the kick-off video below:

Students will be sent home with lanyards tomorrow! To receive a Book Buddy, students simply need to enter 10 email addresses and receive their code. Once they bring their completed lanyard back to school, they will receive their Book Buddy!

The final totals are in, and we have our Penny Wars winners! 🏆

1st Grade — 17,204 pts
3rd Grade — 14,896 pts
2nd Grade — 11,145 pts
4th Grade — 8,686 pts
Kindergarten — 7,542 pts

What a week of coins, strategy, surprises, and some serious competition! It was so fun to see the sibling rivalry, the excitement from all the children, and the sabotage between the grades!

And a HUGE thank-you to every student and family who brought in coins and helped make Penny Wars so much fun! You all have been so generous!

1st Place: 3rd Grade — 5,126 pts
2nd Place: 1st Grade — 3,105 pts
3rd Place: Kindergarten — 1,409 pts
4th Place: 2nd Grade — 1,095 pts
5th Place: 4th Grade — 1,036 pts

And just like that… 3rd Grade has taken the lead!
