The need never stops! Yesterday, this 3 week old showed up with her eyes sealed shut from infection. Her name is baby Gemma, and we did not know if she would survive the night…

But, Gemma is doing much better today after starting antibiotics and eye drops! A case like this will run us at least $250. She also has a fungal skin condition and will need to be kept separate and quarantined from all other kittens to keep it from spreading to others. This requires specialty housing and PPE like the isolation gown and gloves seen in this picture!

These are the kittens our specialty rescue is proud to take in and care for, nurse to health, and find homes for. But we can’t do it without continued support! Savingthekittens.org/donate

Thank you all for your help!!!!! Not pictured is about 8 more bags of litter, some probiotics, and a couple cases of Sheba wet and two bags of dry kitten food that was immediately dispersed to foster homes in need of a re-up on supplies this coming week! Believe it or not, this is only about a week’s worth of wet food for all of the kitties in care, but this helps us out tremendously in a time where monetary donations are at all all time low.

We have raised $465 this month in monetary donations, but have spent $1676 so far in spays/neuters and still have Angels and Fish’s procedures this month on the 23rd that we have only raised $507 total for.

If you would like to donate monetarily, that is just as helpful, but we are SO thankful for this relief you have taken off of our wallet for the next week for food and litter costs 💛🐈‍⬛🐾

ADOPTABLE KITTY

Jiraiya is a 10-month-old cat who is neutered, fully vetted, and ready for his forever home.

He can be a little shy when he first arrives in a new environment, which is completely normal. Remember the 3-3-3 Rule: it may take about 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle into a routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home. Like most cats, Jiraiya may need a couple of days to come out of his shell and show his true personality.

Jiraiya thrives with feline companionship and must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat. Having a cat friend helps him feel more comfortable, confident, and happy.

Once he gets comfortable, Jiraiya is very affectionate and loves spending time with his people. He especially enjoys playing with string toys and will happily chase and pounce on them.

Jiraiya is completely litter box trained and currently eats Iams dry cat food. With a little patience, love, and a feline friend, he will make a wonderful companion.

* Must have another friendly cat in the home.
* No children under 12 years old.

Olive is absolutely spoiled in foster care, as our all of our babies! Her favorite thing is cat TV, and she will wait in front of the TV until it is turned on when you enter the room! She is fixed & fully up-to-date on vaccines but she does have a suspicious lump that appeared, and we are waiting for more information on before she will be eligible for adoption. Send her your good vibes, prayers for healing, and lots of love❤️🐾

Sweet Ravenpaw was originally a bottle baby in our rescue last year, but was just returned with her sister due to her original adopter’s newborn’s allergies. She has been decompressing in a foster home where we observed her and her sister’s behaviors to determine if they were bonded or not, because the kitty’s needs and mental/physical wellbeing are always more important than anything to us! We’ve found that they are NOT bonded and are able to go to homes seperate from each other!

Ravenpaw is great with kids, cats, & cat friendly dogs! She loves churu treats and affection. She might need a couple days to decompress, but thats okay because all kitties that you adopt should be expected to! She will likely hide when she first gets to her new home, but she started warming up within the first 48 hours at her foster home!

The 3-3-3 rule for cats is a crucial guideline developed by animal behaviorists to manage expectations during their adjustment period: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the layout and routines, and 3 months to fully feel at home. Because cats are highly territorial and sensitive to environmental changes, their decompression process focuses heavily on establishing a sense of physical safety.

Hi! We are Sarah & Georgie! We are siblings and we are great with other cats, human kids, and calm dogs with proper introduction! We were bottle babies, so the need for human attention is real! We love playtime, cuddles, and our favorite food is Friskies pate! We can be adopted as a pair or separated, but we need to have kitty friends either way.
We are litter box trained and have received all age-appropriate vaccinations. We are microchipped & on flea and tick control. Both combo tested negative and are free of FIV, FELV & Heartworm!
