Alderman Nugent's Annual Back to School Bash is Monday, August 10th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Hollywood Park (3312 W. Thorndale Ave).

This event is free and open to the public.

FREE School Physicals will be provided by American Indian Health Service of Chicago. Appointments are required. To schedule your appointment, please contact the Ward Office by calling 773.736.5594 or via email at [email protected].

The Chicago Department of Public Health will be onsite administering routine pediatric vaccines (ages 6 months and older) onsite during the event. Appointments for vaccines are encouraged; however, walk-ins are welcome, time permitting. Please use the link to register: https://tinyurl.com/ward39

What a great morning we had on the 4th- thanks to all who came out. It was so nice to enjoy the park and the new nature playspace together as a community. If you have photos to share, comment them here!

This event would not be possible without our sponsors or volunteers - huge thanks for your contributions. Special shoutout to volunteers Kathryn Bramlitt and Tina Huff, they are the heart and soul of this event and put a ton of time and effort into it.

The 4th of July Parade is fast approaching! Put on your red, white and blue, decorate your bikes, scooters, strollers or wagons and march with us or gather along the North Mayfair parade route to cheer us on!

Check the schedule and new route for this year: the parade assembles on Argyle (south of Palmer Elementary) and ends at the new nature playspace at Little Gompers Park.

Gamblers is doing a drink special and will have sales in their parking lot (4908 N Pulaski)

Belacon 5 Comic & Toy Show is happening in the basement of Mayfair Presbyterian from 10a-4p (4358 W Ainslie)
