🇺🇸 On September 24, 2026, a new digital exhibition celebrating the extraordinary contributions of Poles and Polish Americans to 250 years of the United States will be officially unveiled during a special ceremony in Washington, D.C.
𝟐𝟓𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
The exhibition will bring to life the stories of remarkable individuals whose achievements in science, culture, business, politics, the military, sports, technology, and many other fields have helped shape the American story.
The project was initiated by the Polish American Congress and created in partnership with Za Horyzontem - historian Anna Grabowski Anna K-g and graphic designer Joanna Dudzik-Kalemba Johana Dudzik, and Była Sobie Fotka , animator Bronisław Domitrz.
Washington will be only the beginning! Following its official unveiling, the exhibition will travel across the United States, reaching Polish-American and broader American audiences at multiple locations and events throughout the country.
We look forward to sharing these remarkable stories and reminding America that the Polish contribution has been part of the American story for 250 years.

🇵🇱 24 września 2026 roku podczas specjalnej uroczystości w Waszyngtonie zostanie oficjalnie zaprezentowana nowa wystawa cyfrowa ukazująca niezwykły wkład Polaków i Amerykanów polskiego pochodzenia w 250 lat historii Stanów Zjednoczonych.
Wystawa przybliży historie wyjątkowych postaci, których osiągnięcia w nauce, kulturze, biznesie, polityce, wojskowości, sporcie, technologii i wielu innych dziedzinach pomogły kształtować historię Ameryki.
Projekt powstał z inicjatywy Kongresu Polonii Amerykańskiej i został zrealizowany we współpracy z Za Horyzontem — historyk Anną Grabowski i graficzką Joanną Dudzik-Kalembą — oraz Była Sobie Fotka i animatorem Bronisławem Domitrzem.
Waszyngton będzie dopiero początkiem! Po oficjalnej premierze wystawa wyruszy w podróż po Stanach Zjednoczonych i będzie prezentowana w wielu miejscach oraz podczas wydarzeń polonijnych i amerykańskich w całym kraju.
Chcemy opowiedzieć te niezwykłe historie i przypomnieć Ameryce, że polski wkład jest częścią jej historii od 250 lat.

🇺🇸 These is the historic 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 at Union Station in Washington, D.C. — the extraordinary setting for the Polish American Congress event “𝟐𝟓𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” on September 24, 2026.
Originally created as a State Reception Room for U.S. Presidents and distinguished foreign guests, the Presidential Suite has welcomed presidents, royalty, and international dignitaries throughout its remarkable history. Among its most memorable moments was President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s reception for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1939.
We could hardly imagine a more fitting setting to celebrate 250 years of Polish contributions to the American story and the enduring friendship between Poland and the United States.

🇵🇱 To historyczna Presidential Suite na Union Station w Waszyngtonie — niezwykłe miejsce, które 24 września 2026 roku stanie się scenerią wydarzenia Kongresu Polonii Amerykańskiej „𝟐𝟓𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”.
Presidential Suite powstał jako reprezentacyjna State Reception Room, przeznaczona dla prezydentów Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz najważniejszych zagranicznych gości. Na przestrzeni lat gościł prezydentów, członków rodzin królewskich i międzynarodowych dygnitarzy. Jednym z najbardziej pamiętnych wydarzeń było przyjęcie w 1939 roku przez prezydenta Franklina D. Roosevelta króla Jerzego VI i królowej Elżbiety.
Trudno wyobrazić sobie bardziej odpowiednie miejsce do uczczenia 250 lat polskiego wkładu w historię Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz trwałej przyjaźni łączącej Polskę i USA.

🇺🇸 Polish American Congress President Hubert J. Cioromski attended the solemn unveiling and blessing ceremony of the statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe at the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Marytown, Illinois.
The ceremony brought together the faithful and representatives of the Polish-American community to honor the memory and extraordinary legacy of St. Maximilian Kolbe — a Polish Franciscan friar, martyr of Auschwitz, and one of the most widely recognized Polish saints in the world.
The new statues are a beautiful symbol of faith, sacrifice, and spiritual heritage that unites generations of Poles and Polish Americans.
We congratulate all the individuals and institutions involved in bringing this exceptional initiative to fruition.

🇵🇱 Prezes Kongresu Polonii Amerykańskiej Hubert J. Cioromski uczestniczył w uroczystej ceremonii odsłonięcia i poświęcenia figur Matki Bożej oraz św. Maksymiliana Marii Kolbego w Narodowym Sanktuarium św. Maksymiliana Kolbego w Marytown w Illinois.
Uroczystość zgromadziła wiernych oraz przedstawicieli Polonii, którzy wspólnie uczcili pamięć i niezwykłe dziedzictwo św. Maksymiliana Kolbego – polskiego franciszkanina, męczennika Auschwitz i jednego z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych polskich świętych na świecie.
Nowe figury stanowią piękny symbol wiary, poświęcenia i duchowego dziedzictwa, które łączy kolejne pokolenia Polaków i Polonii Amerykańskiej.

🇺🇸 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓 – 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲
Today, we pay tribute to all the soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces — those who, throughout the centuries, fought for the freedom and independence of their homeland, and those who today stand guard over Poland’s security.
Polish Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the anniversary of one of the greatest victories in Polish military history — the Battle of Warsaw of 1920, known as the “Miracle on the Vistula.” The victory of the Polish Army over the Red Army stopped the Bolshevik offensive and defended the independence of the reborn Republic of Poland.
On this special day, we remember the heroes of 1920 and all generations of Polish soldiers. We also express our gratitude to the women and men who currently serve in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

🇵🇱 15 sierpnia – Święto Wojska Polskiego
Dziś oddajemy hołd wszystkim żołnierzom Wojska Polskiego – tym, którzy na przestrzeni wieków walczyli o wolność i niepodległość Ojczyzny, oraz tym, którzy dziś stoją na straży bezpieczeństwa Polski.
Święto Wojska Polskiego obchodzone jest w rocznicę jednego z największych zwycięstw w historii polskiego oręża – Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 roku, nazywanej „Cudem nad Wisłą”. Zwycięstwo Wojska Polskiego nad Armią Czerwoną zatrzymało bolszewicką ofensywę i obroniło niepodległość odrodzonej Rzeczypospolitej.
W tym szczególnym dniu pamiętamy o bohaterach 1920 roku i wszystkich pokoleniach polskich żołnierzy. Wyrażamy również wdzięczność kobietom i mężczyznom, którzy obecnie służą w Siłach Zbrojnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.

🇺🇸 The July visit of the Polish American Congress delegation, led by President Hubert J. Cioromski, to Poland was marked by a series of important meetings and productive discussions.
PAC leaders met with senior Polish government officials and key partners engaged in cooperation with the Polish diaspora. Among the highlights were meetings with U.S. Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose at the U.S. Embassy Warsaw, Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, led by Minister Agnieszka Jedrzak, as well as numerous members of the Polish Parliament, including both deputies and senators.
One of the most meaningful and moving moments of the visit was the meeting with Andrzej Poczobut, a symbol of the struggle for the rights of the Polish minority in Belarus, who regained his freedom after years of imprisonment. It was an opportunity to express our solidarity and appreciation for his courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment.

🇵🇱 Lipcowa wizyta delegacji Kongresu Polonii Amerykańskiej z Prezesem Hubertem Cioromskim w Polsce była czasem intensywnych spotkań i ważnych rozmów.
Liderzy KPA odbyli szereg spotkań z przedstawicielami najwyższych władz państwowych oraz partnerami zaangażowanymi we współpracę z Polonią. Wśród nich znalazły się rozmowy z Ambasadorem Stanów Zjednoczonych w Polsce Tomem Rose, Marszałek Senatu Małgorzatą Kidawą-Błońską, przedstawicielami Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych, Kancelarii Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej na czele z Panią Minister Agnieszką Jędrzak, a także z licznymi posłami i senatorami RP.
Szczególnym i niezwykle poruszającym momentem wizyty było również spotkanie z Andrzejem Poczobutem – symbolem walki o prawa polskiej mniejszości na Białorusi, który po latach więzienia odzyskał wolność. Była to okazja do wyrażenia solidarności oraz uznania dla jego odwagi, niezłomności i poświęcenia.

Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of the men, women, and youth who rose up in the Warsaw Uprising to fight for a free and independent Poland.
For 63 days, the people of Warsaw stood against overwhelming odds, becoming a lasting symbol of resilience, patriotism, and the unbreakable will to live in freedom. Their sacrifice remains one of the most powerful chapters in the history of Poland and continues to inspire generations around the world.
On this anniversary, the Polish American Congress proudly joins Poles and Polish Americans everywhere in paying tribute to the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.

Dziś oddajemy hołd odwadze, poświęceniu i niezłomnemu duchowi kobiet, mężczyzn oraz młodzieży, którzy stanęli do walki w Powstaniu Warszawskim o wolną i niepodległą Polskę.
Przez 63 dni mieszkańcy Warszawy stawiali opór przeważającym siłom niemieckiego okupanta, stając się symbolem odwagi, patriotyzmu i niezłomnej woli życia w wolności. Ich ofiara pozostaje jednym z najważniejszych rozdziałów w historii Polski i do dziś inspiruje kolejne pokolenia.
W rocznicę wybuchu Powstania Warszawskiego Kongres Polonii Amerykańskiej z dumą oddaje hołd jego Bohaterom oraz wszystkim cywilnym ofiarom tego heroicznego zrywu.
