Hello everyone,

The Kurdish Cultural Center of Illinois will be participating in the Skokie Festival of Cultures on May 16 & 17 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Oakton Park in Skokie.

We warmly invite you to visit our booth, learn more about Kurdish culture, and celebrate cultural diversity with us.

We are also looking for volunteers to help welcome guests and share information about our culture throughout the event.

The Kurdish Cultural Center of Illinois (KCCI) was proud to celebrate Newroz 2026 with our community in a wonderful and festive atmosphere. We were happy to see hundreds of community members and friends come together to celebrate the Kurdish New Year, a symbol of freedom, renewal, and unity.

The celebration included traditional music, dance, and cultural activities, bringing our community together and keeping our traditions alive. We sincerely thank everyone who attended, supported, and helped organize this beautiful event.
