The Chicago Cuatro Orchestra

09/08/2026

30 years of vision. 30 years of dedication. 30 years of keeping our culture alive. 🇵🇷

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Founder and Executive Director, Orlando Rivera, as a recipient of the 2026 Three Kings Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture.

What began as a vision to preserve and share the music of the Puerto Rican cuatro has grown into three decades of teaching, performing, mentoring, and creating opportunities for generations to stay connected to their culture.

This honor is a beautiful recognition of Orlando’s lifelong commitment to our music, our youth, and our community.

Congratulations, Orlando, on 30 years of service and a legacy that continues to grow with every string played and every student inspired. ❤️🇵🇷

¡Que viva el cuatro, que viva nuestra música, y que viva nuestra cultura!
