🤝 A Message to Our Fellow Dive Shops
Over the past five years, Chicagoland has seen several dive shops close their doors, change ownership, or face significant challenges. That's not good for divers, and it's not good for our industry.
At Learn Scuba Chicago, we believe there is a better path forward: collaboration instead of competition.
This year alone, we've already partnered with two other dive shops in ways that have benefited everyone involved. We've worked together on certifications, travel opportunities, equipment sourcing, and other initiatives that helped all parties better serve their customers and grow their businesses.
As the nation's largest nonprofit full-service dive shop, we're fortunate to have resources, capacity, and opportunities that may create value for other shops. We are not looking to buy, acquire, or merge with anyone. Our goal is simple:

🌊 Strengthen the Chicagoland diving community.
🌊 Create opportunities that benefit everyone involved.
