The Miss Illinois 2026 Scholarship Competition wrapped up its 16th year at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center, with Kate Dimmett being crowned Miss Illinois 2026 following a week of competition featuring contestants from across the state.

Philadelphia, here we come! 🇺🇸

Honored to represent Illinois during the historic America250 celebration in Philadelphia! I can’t wait to join the other Miss America delegates in the Show Us Your Shoes Parade as we celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary and kick off an exciting week of Miss America events.

You can watch the parade LIVE on Friday, July 3, from 12:00–4:00 PM ET on NBC10 Philadelphia, with streaming available nationwide and around the world on Peacock, Roku, Prime Video, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV, Google TV, Pluto TV, XUMO, the NBC10 Philadelphia app, NBC10.com, and the NBC10 Philadelphia YouTube channel.

The parade will also air LIVE nationally on C-SPAN, with additional replays throughout the summer.

I can’t wait to share this incredible experience and celebrate 250 years of America’s story. Be sure to tune in and cheer on all of the Miss America delegates as we make our way through the streets of historic Philadelphia! ❤️🤍💙✨
