The Goethe Fest fun continued long after the bell rang! 🎉

Our back-to-school block party was packed with fun, laughter, and so many ways to connect, including:

🎶 Music by DJ YehMe2, a fellow Goethe parent
🎴 Pokémon trading with Logan Arch
💃 A dance lesson with Miss Tiffani from McFetridge Sports Center
🥁 A performance by the Golder College Prep band
🎮 A video game truck
🏰 Bounce houses
🃏 Lotería hosted by DJ Nino
🎨 A makers’ space
🏐 The 8th grade vs. teachers dodgeball game
🌭 Food, sodas, and so much more!

It was so much fun to bring this back-to-school block party to our community. The energy, joy, and community spirit were palpable, and it was wonderful to see students, families, teachers, and neighbors coming together to celebrate another school year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it such a memorable day! 💙💛🦅🎉

Stay tuned for raffle winner news!

🦅 Goethe Fest officially kicked off on Friday with two school assemblies featuring the Jesse White Tumblers, sponsored by FOGS.

The tumblers, who recently made it to the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent, soared through the air, even flying over Principal Elmasri and some of our students!

A huge thank-you to the Jesse White Tumblers for sharing their talent and energy with the Goethe community. What an incredible way to kick off Goethe Fest! ✨🎉💙💛🤩

🦅 Goethe Fest is Back! 💙💛

It’s back-to-school time and we’re are kicking things off in a BIG way!

Goethe Fest is one of THREE major FOGS fundraisers this school year, along with the Annual Fund this winter and La Noche Lotería this spring. (The Annie Abreu Fun Run will be back in Fall 2027!)

We’re closing down Rockwell from Fullerton to Lyndale to celebrate our school, community & culture — all while raising funds for new classroom furniture, math workbooks, classroom libraries & technology, field trip transportation, and more. Everyone in the neighborhood is invited and welcome to attend!

Here’s how you can help:

1. BUY A STUDENT WRISTBAND!
While the Fest is FREE to attend, students need a wristband to participate in all the activities! Buy one for your student. Buy one for a friend. Buy one for a complete stranger! Let’s SELL OUT and get every Goethe student a wristband so they can participate in all that Goethe Fest has to offer. (And trust us — it’s good.) 🔗 in bio. tinyurl.com/goethefest

2. ENTER OUR AMAZING RAFFLES!
We have some seriously great prizes — and you do NOT need to be present to win. Click on the picture below to select one, or enter them all! tinyurl.com/goethefest

3. VOLUNTEER!
Give us an hour, and we’ll give you the rest of the Fest. Come hang with us, help make the magic happen, and then get back to enjoying the party. tinyurl.com/goethefestvolunteer
