Records are being broken at Puppy Bowl XXII! 🐾🏈

This year, the Puppy Bowl is making history with a record-breaking 15 dogs with special needs taking the field. From deaf pups like Anson and Dottie to little Teigan in her canine wheelchair, these resilient rescues are proving that nothing can stop them from scoring big! 🏆

Meet a few of the MVPs:
✨ Paddy: A blind pup who doesn’t let anything get in his way.
✨ Wynonna: An adorable 3-legged superstar.
✨ Grasshopper: Playing his heart out while managing diabetes.

✨ HAPPY NEW YEAR! ✨

As we wrap up another year of helping pets stay moving, exploring, and living life to the fullest, we just want to say THANK YOU for being part of this incredible community. Your support truly changes lives! 💛

Before we head into 2026, a quick reminder for tonight’s celebrations. 🎆🎇 Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be really scary for our pets, especially those with mobility challenges who may not be able to pace or retreat easily when they’re stressed. Here are a few simple ways to keep them safe and comfortable:

🐾 Create a quiet zone: Set up a cozy spot with blankets, familiar toys, and their bed. Some pets feel safest in a smaller, enclosed space.

🐾 Keep ID tags and microchips updated: Just in case the unexpected happens. Even indoor pets can bolt when frightened.

🐾 Close windows and blinds: Helps muffle the noise and block flashes of light.

🐾 Offer extra reassurance: Stay close, speak softly, and keep their routine as normal as possible.

🐾 Use mobility aids early: If your pet uses a wheelchair, lift harness, or supportive gear, get them settled before the fireworks start so they don’t have to move around later while stressed.

Meet Wheatley 🐾 an elderly pug whose world changed when walking became hard.

Through Wild Hearts, Wheatley received assistive devices including a cart and anti knuckle devices, incontinence supplies, and educational support to help him thrive in his golden years.

His mom shared how heartbreaking it was to see him frustrated when he couldn’t follow her—but having support made all the difference.

🦃 Thanksgiving Safety Tips for Pet Parents! 🐾
Before you start sharing the holiday feast with your pet, here are 5 foods to keep off their plate:

🚫 Seasoned turkey & gravy – Fat + garlic/onion = tummy trouble (or worse)
🚫 Turkey bones – They splinter and can cause serious internal injuries
🚫 Grapes & raisins – Even small amounts can cause kidney failure
🚫 Mashed potatoes – Loaded with butter, milk, salt, and often onions
🚫 Raw bread dough – Expands in the stomach and creates toxic alcohol

✨ Safe tip: Give a small piece of plain, cooked turkey (no skin, no bones!) or a dog-safe treat so they can celebrate too.

🌼 Honoring Our Pets on Día de los Mu***os 🕯️🐾

Our pets may be gone, but their love stays with us forever. This Día de los Mu***os, celebrate their beautiful spirit in meaningful ways:

💛 Create an ofrenda (altar):
Set up a small space in your home with your pet’s photo, favorite treats, toys, or leash. Add bright cempasúchil (marigold) flowers, candles, and a touch of confetti to welcome their spirit home.

💭 Reflect & remember:
Spend a few quiet moments reliving the joy and laughter they brought into your life.

📖 Share their story:
Invite loved ones to share their favorite memories or photos of your pet.

🐶 Honor through love:
