Today is 7/10, a day recognized throughout the cannabis community.

Unlike 4/20, which celebrates cannabis more broadly, 7/10 focuses on cannabis concentrates and oils. If you flip “710” upside down, it spells “OIL,” which is where the tradition comes from.

For many veterans, concentrates aren’t about chasing a high. They’re about having another tool. Whether it’s helping manage chronic pain, improving sleep, easing anxiety, or reducing reliance on more harmful medications, these products have become an important part of many veterans’ wellness journeys.

At Operation 1620, we believe veterans deserve access to accurate information, safe products, and the freedom to have open conversations about every evidence-informed option available to them. Cannabis isn’t the answer for everyone, but every veteran deserves the opportunity to make informed decisions about their own health.

Today, we recognize the progress that’s been made, the research still needed, and the veterans who continue to advocate for compassionate, common-sense cannabis policy.
