Windy City Knitting Guild The Windy City Knitting Guild (WCKG) is an organization that promotes interest and skill in knitting

Our general meeting schedule:
6:45pm - 7:00pm - Meeting opens, snacks, and socializing
7:00pm - News, announcements, introductions, and our program
8:25pm - Show and share (knitting show and tell)
8:45 - Meeting ends! At each meeting participants are free to take yarn, patterns, books or whatever items are on the piano. You are also free to bring in items you are no longer using to give away, but please take them home at the end of the night if no one has claimed them.

Join us for our World Wide Knit In Public day meetup on Saturday, June 13th 🧶 at the Bean!

We're collabing with our friends at to celebrate our beautiful Chicago knitting community. There will be a giant stitch circle, our wildly popular yarn swap, and more!

World Wide Knit in Public day is a chance to show off the diversity, joy, and possibilities that knitting brings. We hope to see you there!

Yarn Swap:
💫Please bring yarn in a ziploc or other bag
💫No yarn scraps please
