🗣️Thursday of testimony:

¡17 voices, 17 years of resistance!

Juana worked at a daycare where workers were mistreated—and so were the children in their care. Faced with these conditions, Juana and her coworkers decided they would not stay silent.
They organized, defended their rights, and raised their voices.
For Juana, knowing her rights was the first step. Organizing with her coworkers was the next—giving them the strength to stand up for themselves and fight for better conditions for workers and children.
Because when workers organize, their voices are heard

👥This is Juana’s story—Testimony 10.

Respiratory virus season is here — and now is a good time to check which immunizations are recommended for you and your family. 🫁

IDPH has released its 2026–2027 respiratory virus immunization guidance for flu, COVID-19 and RSV.
Here are a few key recommendations:
💉 Flu: Recommended for everyone 6 months and older.
💉 RSV: Recommendations vary by age, pregnancy status and risk factors.
💉 COVID-19: Recommended for children, adults, pregnant people and those planning pregnancy, with recommendations varying by age and individual circumstances.

These recommendations were developed with the Illinois Immunization Advisory Committee, a group of experts in infectious diseases, pediatrics, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, nursing, pharmacy and public health.

Immunizations remain safe, effective and one of the best ways to reduce your risk of serious illness from respiratory viruses.

Save this chart for the full recommendations, and talk with your health care provider about what’s right for you.
