Workers Education Society NFP Workers Education Society promotes the education and general welfare of working people in Illinois. LIHEAP is funded by the U.S.

CEDA = Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County. Home Energy Assistance Programs include: Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), designed to assist eligible low-income households pay for winter energy services. Department of Health and Human Services and the state of Illinois. The WES intake center staff are here to help you through the maze of picky requirements and regulations. They will tell you honestly what kind of paperwork you must provide to prove eligibility and how long it will take. WES has no authority over the administration of funds. Make sure all your elected officials know about the need for these programs and the need for increased funding.
