✨ SAM’S ART SHOWCASE ✨
🎉 SURPRISE, IT’S A BOY! 🎉

We are so thrilled to present Sam Franco’s solo show — an exhibition that is so much more than art on walls. Sam is coming out as a trans man, and this show is his public step into himself. The PACH team has had the privilege of witnessing his journey as both an artist and a person, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Come celebrate Sam, experience his work, and welcome him into this next chapter. 💙

Art that moves you and grounds you, all at once.”

A Chicago-based activist, scientist, and creative, Sajani’s exhibit –“One Foot In, One Foot Out” uses art to explore the intersecting planes of the earthly realm, the heavenly realm, and harder to define spaces - the fourth and fifth dimensions, and phenomena in the earthly realm that are unseen and unheard to those who do not seek them.

As a community organizer, Sajani sees feeling, dreaming, and imagining as core components of resistance and liberation. The powers that be seek to separate us from our bodies and intuition leaving us feeling that alternatives to the status quo are not possible. Sajani’s art aims to bring us back to our bodies –to root ourselves in place and feel the power in a collective creative experience.

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES:

✨APAPACHAR: Still Holding Ground & Moving Mountains ✨

APAPACHAR, is a femme-centered group exhibition opening this March in honor of International Women’s Month.

Apapachar, (to embrace with the soul) illustrates through each artist’s work, the knowledge and care that our ancestors depended on us to keep alive. The relationship between our encoded ancestry, power of creation, energy we give and receive as women and femme-identifying artists in community, survives, resists, and roots itself deeper in this exhibition.

The artwork simultaneously honors Mother Earth as a living, feminine force - one that nurtures, creates, and survives through resilience. As we tap into all these forces, we ignite a powerful surge that can be felt from the ground, up through our bodies, up to our celestial source, and channeled back down to keep stewarding the care of our lands, peoples and communities.

We invite you to join us this month to celebrate International Women’s Month and the phenomenal artists who have come together to share their work with you all.

PACH Reflection and Message for Jan 30th❤️
We/You show up however we can. There is no action too small. Gathering in solidarity and resistance for a struggle that involves every single one of us right now is THE Action that oppressors fear the most.

Remember, our power is in our knowledge of what community care is. Our ancestral histories are of people who thrived together, protected eachother, and created a life of sustainability together. Anything and anyone that threatens the preservation of this at its most basic humanitarian level is an Oppressor.

We all can acknowledge it’s been going on forever and that it’s not just our nation, but let us also acknowledge that in our lifetime the whole world is under oppressing occupations of some sort. Whether thru economics, natural resources, food, housing, etc, the world is experiencing collective pain.

What the oppressors didn’t expect, was how all our communities across oceans and land, would reach a point of reckoning with them. All this to say, that what we do in our home, our communities, in our cities,…others are doing their part too. And the effects will be impactful and the worlds pain will shift to joy one day.

Stay hopeful, stay strong, take care of each other, and know that what you do and what you say matters. Keep staying loud!
