“National Rainbow Baby Day is incredibly meaningful to our family. After experiencing pregnancy loss ourselves, Carlos and I know the hope that can come after heartbreak and how deeply families hold onto that hope as they continue their path to parenthood.
That’s why the Willow Grant, named in honor of our daughter, means so much to us. Through organizations like the Chicago Coalition for Family Building, we’re able to help more families facing infertility after pregnancy loss access fertility treatment when cost might otherwise stand in their way.
This National Rainbow Baby Day on August 22, I hope our story can be a reminder that there is hope and support for families still on their journey. One way to help is by supporting the Coalition’s annual 5K on September 20, its largest fundraiser of the year, which raises critical funds to help more families have the chance to grow.”
