The Hope 100

The Hope 100 An adventure-based flight to break the Flight Endurance Record to promote a public interest in aviation while raising money for cancer research.

The Endurance Flight Record is the longest amount of time any one aircraft of a particular category has spent in flight without landing regardless of the number of crew. Currently the standing record for Endurance Flight is 64 days, 22 hours, set by the Cessna 172 Hacienda in February 1959. The Hope 100 Endurance Flight aims to break it while meeting the defined mission goals below. Our primary mi

ssion is to stimulate a public interest in aviation through an adventure based approach that highlights an achievement by novice aviators. In addition to this, The Hope 100 will donate any remaining money that is received and not expended on operations costs to the University of Pennsylvania's Immunotherapy Program that has seen advances in their treatments against cancer.
