Learn More About us Here! https://linktr.ee/luvinstitutechi As part of a national movement that provides self-develop care to youth victims of poverty, The Love, Unity & Values (LUV) Institute distinguishes itself by providing social and emotion competence to adolescent teens and young adults in foster care, state funded group homes and juvenile justice. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, always with the aim of providing tools and resources to under-served communities in the Chicagoland area and across the United States. Today, in addition to workforce development, The LUV Institute offers services in four areas: emotional empowerment workshops to help young adults manage life’s breakdowns; support and guidance counseling to youth seeking to attend college; preparation, assembling and distribution of entry level jobs; and business education programs to promote entrepreneurship.

We are excited to gather with our supporters and friends during a powerful morning dedicated to uplifting Chicago’s opportunity youth and young adults.

At the Love, Unity & Values Institute (LUV Institute), we provide career and personal development programs for young people who have experienced trauma, violence, and the weight of low expectations, providing safe, healing spaces for multigenerational learning and growth.

✊🏾✊🏾We celebrate to remember June 19, 1865, when enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
It’s a day that holds a complex truth: it’s a beautiful celebration of Black resilience, but also a stark reminder of just how long justice can be delayed. Juneteenth shows us that freedom in this country has never been handed down from the top. It has always had to be demanded, protected, and defined by the very people who were denied it.
