Billy Checking in with all of you.
He wants to tell you he doing very well. He recently overcame a deep inner ear infection and that threw him off for a bit. While under the weather (un beknownst to his foster mom) Billy became a bit more...should we say "irritable'. There were no other signs of an ear infection other than a tiny bit of ick in the right ear. But with that along with his uptick in irritability he saw his Dr. Low and behold Billy had a deep inner ear infection which accompanied a little of that nasty bacteria. Billy was treated and it was obvious that he was feeling better because his "Good boy" personality was back. Billy is a good boy most of the time. However this takes a lot of work by his humans. Watching for triggers, changes and reactions and working around those to give Billy his best life, Billy has come a long way and is doing so so good. We love you Billy! Keep up the good work!

Hi, Everyone! Grey here! 🖤 I was born with spina bifida, a congenital defect of the spinal cord. As a result, I have some weakness in my back legs and am a 100% diaper girl.

My foster parents thought everyone might like to see my changing table. I'm such a good girl about getting my diaper changed.

Some posts are just plain hard to write. This is certainly one of them.

With profound sadness, we wanted to announce that IEBR alum, Sarge, has went to the Rainbow Bridge. Sarge experienced a series of severe neurological events that his vet believes were likely caused by a tumor. He was fine one day and then suddenly not, and the kindest thing his Dad could do was to let him go.

Sarge impacted everyone he met. His Dad said he didn't know just how much until after he passed, "He made a difference in so many people's lives. I never knew the extent until now. So many people have reached out because of him. He was such a good dude. All the dispatchers, when I first got Sarge, said he was now the mascot for the sheriff's department lolol. They all loved him so much. He'd go to each station and sit on their feet and just soak up all the lovins hahah. He was one of a kind."

Sarge had every right to not to trust people, but he had the bravest and sweetest heart. He finally landed where he was supposed to be all along and it feels so unfair that his time was cut short. Please keep Sarge's Dad in your thoughts as he navigates this tremendous loss.

You're a good boy, Sarge. I'm thankful to have had you in my life. I believe without a doubt that all those that love you will get to see you again someday and that you and your Dad will one day be reunited. ❤️🌈

From her foster Momma: Nola has lots of energy, more than most of the Bulldogs I have known. She is extremely fast and will do zoomies outside. She likes her toys and loves her yak chews. She has a rooster soccer ball that she absolutely loves. 🐓⚽️❤️

Just a little reminder, when bringing home ANY new pet, there will be an adjustment period. The 3 day, 3 week, 3 month model is a good rule of thumb!

**Winnie Pupdate!**
From her foster Momma: As much as Winnie likes sweets (fruit), she also loves veggies! There hasn't been one I've offered that she has refused. 🫑🥒🥕 She loves the cucumber, zucchini and green pepper from the garden.
