The “Visions of Progress” catalog will be released on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library Central Branch. Anyone who wants one can get one, said exhibition curator and UVA history professor John Edwin Mason.

UVA rejected the Trump administration’s Compact for Excellence in Higher Education on Friday, Oct. 17, hours after more than a thousand people rallied on UVA’s lawn to demand that Interim President Paul Mahoney and the UVA Board of Visitors turn down the offer.

UVA became the fifth school and the first public university to reject the Trump administration's proposed agreement that ties federal funding to sweeping demands on admission, recruitment and more.
