Block play has been a classroom staple in early childhood classrooms for over 150 years. We're going to take a deep dive into how this open-ended manipulative supports cross-curricular learning. We will also explore how block play progresses from infancy & beyond. Each participant will leave with strategies to extend/scaffold block play.

We are less than a month away from our next Chat & Play training workshops! Join us on May 10th to explore the world of "Simple Science." Incorporating science into daily classroom activities is as easy as open the refrigerator door. In fact there are many items found in your fridge that can be used for simple science experiments. If you have been hesitant to add hands-on science activities into your lesson plans this is the workshop for you! We will be getting a little messy so please dress accordingly.
