Piedmont CASA - Charlottesville

Piedmont CASA is on a mission to champion and restore children and youth whose lives have been compromised by abuse and neglect.

Piedmont CASA trains men and women in our community to advocate in court on behalf of abused and neglected children. Known as CASA Volunteers, they serve over 200 boys and girls each, ensuring that they have a voice in the courts and in the child welfare system. If you'd like to change a traumatized child's story to a story of healing and hope, learn more about becoming a CASA Volunteer.

Thank you to all those who submitted an application to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate and train with us this fall. By being the one to show up for youth who have experienced abuse or neglect, you will make a lasting impact.

If this fall was not the right time for you to become a CASA, we welcome you to reconsider when our spring applications open.

Isn't it incredible that this community has companies like , who not only believe in our mission to advocate for children, but also repair the potholes in our parking lot, a reminder of last year's ice storm, absolutely free? Grateful beyond words!
