Piedmont CASA - Charlottesville Piedmont CASA is on a mission to champion and restore children and youth whose lives have been compromised by abuse and neglect.

Piedmont CASA trains men and women in our community to advocate in court on behalf of abused and neglected children. Known as CASA Volunteers, they serve over 200 boys and girls each, ensuring that they have a voice in the courts and in the child welfare system. If you'd like to change a traumatized child's story to a story of healing and hope, learn more about becoming a CASA Volunteer.

For two years, there has been a steady increase in the number of children entering foster care. PCASA's response has been to ramp up and provide 20% more kids with Advocates. In the midst of this increase, Culpeper CASA came to us for help. They were losing their fiscal sponsor, which meant their kids in foster care would lose their Advocates - unless we stepped in. PCASA said 'yes', and is expanding to include Culpeper in our footprint beginning July 1. Now it's our turn to ask you for help - help ensuring every child in our greater community has what they deserve: a trained advocate who shows up, speaks up, and stays by their side. https://bit.ly/4sYZanC
