We are a 501(c)3 feral cat sanctuary in Central Virginia with a passion for providing comfort and safety to kitties that have only known struggle.

We also offer TNR services in our local community to help control the population.

Happy National Cat Day!

This is one that we celebrate every day but it never hurts to have an "official" day when everyone else can join in 🩷 This beautiful lady is Miss Coco (Skeletor is also making a mini-appearance - if you can find her).

Coco is what I like to call a "Roommate Cat" because she is happy to hang out, eat your snacks, play a game or two, but she has no interest in getting all cuddly and risking giving you the "wrong impression" about where this relationship is going. lol. The nice thing is that she is much quieter, less messy, and way less annoying than a human roommate 🤣 If you could use a roommate like Coco, let us know! We have several kitties that would be happy to keep your spot on the couch warm while you work all day 🥰

Our newest rescue kitty is showing exactly how we feel about scammers! We wanted to take a moment to remind all of our community members and nonprofit neighbors to be vigilant and NEVER share personal information with anyone.

Recently we received an email asking about making a donation to our organization. As a small non-profit that is primarily self-funded, this is always exciting! Sadly, it didn't take long to feel "off" and realize that it was a scam. In this particular case, they had great communication and did mail us a check. This is where the scam sets it ... you get a check for too much money and they want you to send them a large portion of it back (said they were donating $2,000 and sent a check for $6,000). Thankfully, we knew it was a scam and did not fall for this but we know that there are people out there that have excitedly deposited this donation check only to have their world turned upside down.

It makes us so angry that people work so hard to take advantage of others and of organizations that are trying to do good work in this world. We have taken the appropriate steps to report this and have been in contact with other rescues that are dealing with the same scam.

We just wanted to remind everyone to stay smart and stay safe. Take care of each other and do good where you can!

Some updated cuteness for your day. Miss Mimi is growing up strong, loud, energetic, and ADORABLE!!!! She still has some growing to do before she is ready for her new home but her Foster Mama is LOVING having her around. Mimi loves to follow her around the house, take over her chair, and snuggle when she is ready for a nap. This sweet girl certainly is the full package!
