Crowds gathered on the top of Carter Mountain, one mountaintop over from Jefferson's Monticello, to watch the C'ville Spectacular fireworks show.

Carter Mountain, long known as one of the best spots from which to see the show, sold out their parking spots long before the fireworks flew into the air.
