Last Thursday we celebrated our latest photo exhibition at the Jewish Community Center!

Our photo exhibitions are an ode to the spirit and beauty of Huacahausi. The exhibition at the Jewish Community Center will be open until September 4th, so make sure to stop by before then!

Each photo exhibition helps bring us one step closer to building a healthcare clinic in the Huacahausi community. We are so grateful to everyone who came to the reception to support us!

Our goal of building a medical clinic depends on your donations. Give at sistersprojectperu.org/donate or see our link in bio!

One week ago, we concluded our August 2026 service trip! 🇵🇪🏔️

With our amazing leadership and volunteer team, we were able to make great progress alongside the community in Huacahuasi.

Just because the trip is over does not mean the work stops here! We are busy mobilizing for the fall season. If you are interested in making a donation to support us or getting involved as a volunteer, see our links in bio!

We're looking for fall interns!

This summer, Sisters Project Peru took another big step toward our goal of expanding healthcare access and economic opportunity in Huacahuasi, Peru.

Over the past few months, our team helped coordinate a medical brigade serving communities in the Cusco region, supported health education initiatives, worked alongside local partners and community leaders, strengthened our fundraising efforts, and continued advancing our long-term goal of establishing a Level 1-2 community health clinic in Huacahuasi.

Now, we’re looking for motivated students and professionals to join us as interns this fall.

As a growing nonprofit, we offer interns the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities and see their work directly contribute to our programs.

Depending on your interests, you could support:

• Fundraising and grant research
• Donor outreach and relationship building
• Community health education programs
• Marketing and social media
• Event planning and outreach
• Partnership development
• Research and organizational strategy

You don’t need to have experience in international development, global public health, or nonprofit work. We’re looking for people who are curious, proactive, collaborative, and excited to contribute to community-led work.

If you’re interested in using your skills to support Sisters Project Peru this fall, we'd love to hear from you. To apply and volunteer with us please visit: https://lnkd.in/dBM4V4Hz

Come help us build on the momentum of this summer and continue growing SPP alongside the communities we serve.

Come with us on our seventh day of the Sisters Project Peru service trip!

Today, we experienced what it would be like to have to hike to the Lares clinic from Huacahausi. This was not easy, and it would be even harder if we were sick, pregnant, or elderly! We toured the clinic, heard from the providers, and then taught a cooking class using the Lucky Iron Fish for some of the women.
