One of the highlights of this past weekend was celebrating the 20th Anniversary Gala of the Lionel Lee Jr. Center for Wellness.
For 20 years, the Wellness Center has been a trusted source of care, connection, and advocacy, making a lasting difference in the lives of so many in our community. We are grateful for their partnership and the shared commitment we have to advancing health equity and ensuring people have access to affirming, compassionate care.
We were also incredibly honored to receive the Excellence in Community Service Award. To be recognized by an organization whose work we admire and respect is truly meaningful, and we share this honor with every single one of you who make Charlotte Trans Health's work possible every day.
It was also especially meaningful to see one of CTH's founding members, Beverly Moss, recognized for her outstanding community service through Moss Counseling. Mecca has been a steadfast advocate for the transgender and gender-diverse community for many years, and we were thrilled to celebrate this well-deserved recognition with her.
Congratulations to the Lionel C. Lee Jr. Wellness Center on 20 amazing years of impact. Thank you for all you have done, and continue to do, for our community. We are proud to stand alongside you and look forward to many more years of working together. 💙🎉
