"When I wrote the Columbia article in June 2017, I prayed and asked Our Lord if it were possible to save even just one mom and her baby, and give them the best chance at life, I would be grateful.

"I heard that a woman showed the article to her daughter after learning her daughter was pregnant in college. Her daughter, Grace, transferred to Belmont Abbey College, gave birth to a son, and lived in the College Residence for two years, and graduated with her degree."

Today is the Solemnity of Pentecost!

At MiraVia, it's our mission is to walk with every woman, offering the maternal support that mirrors the love of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is the work of spiritual motherhood - a vocation fueled by the Holy Spirit.

Today, we pray that the Holy Spirit would inflame our hearts, so we may continue to act as a source of hope, offering long-term support to both mother and child.

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, our Outreach Center will be closed for donations on Monday, May 25. We will happily resume accepting donations on Friday, May 29.

MiraVia is seeking a part time Bookkeeper!

MiraVia’s Bookkeeper is responsible for a wide range of functions that encompass bookkeeping and administrative functions. The schedule is flexible and can be primarily remote, working 25 hours per week.

Major responsibilities include accounts payable, donation processing and financial report management. Other functions include managing entries into the donor database, working with external companies for annual audit and tax filings as well as creating monthly financial statements.

Requires a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience and associate's degree, with bachelor's degree preferred. Must be proficient in Quickbooks desktop and online as well as have a strong commitment to the mission and values of MiraVia. Please send resumes to Debbie Capen at [email protected].
