💟 Yes, we have a long name and while our name has changed a few times through the years, our goal to make recovery more accessible to those with substance use disorder has not! ⁠

📍We have grown to 8 locations across the state of North Carolina, plus a new mobile unit beginning care later this month in .⁠
⁠
✨️ We exist to build a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice for all communities. ⁠

Our team of over 200 members is here to help you in your recovery journey, no judgment, ready to treat every patient with dignity and respect.

Today for ⁠ we'd love to introduce you to Cindy Humphries, Front Office Coordinator at our Lenoir location, who just celebrated her 20th anniversary with McLeod!🎉⁠

🐶When Cindy's not greeting our patients with her warm smile and spirit she loves paying with puppies/dogs and listening to music.⁠

You've heard it on the radio, seen it on the news... celebrities, with what we consider every resource possible, losing loved ones to overdose.

⚠️ Sometimes Substance Use Disorder flies under the radar, often loved ones aren't aware of the need for treatment before it's too late.
Addiction doesn't discriminate and recovery shouldn't either.

💟 This past year, McLeod served 4,812 patients, 78% or whom were on Medicaid. We were able to distribute over 3,500 doses of the lifesaving medication Naloxone, aka Narcan, in order to help PREVENT overdose in our communities.

🤝 If someone you love is dealing with Substance Use Disorder, there cold be no better time than to have the difficult conversation, reach out to us for ways we can help and learn more about how prevention is possible.

💟 From outpatient care for adults and adolescents to medications for substance use disorder and residential programs, we offer a full gamut of resources within our state of North Carolina. With 8 locations across the state, we are local and we are ready to help.
