This equation changed the conversation around HIV! Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) means a person living with HIV who is on treatment and maintains an undetectable viral load cannot sexually transmit HIV.

That’s not just good news; it’s powerful science that helps people live fully, love fully, and challenge decades of HIV stigma.👏🏽

Know it. Share it. Talk about it. The more people who understand U=U, the closer we get to leaving HIV misinformation and stigma behind.📣

Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day reminds us that the South bears the highest burden of HIV in the U.S. Driven by systemic inequities, stigma, and limited access to care. But it’s also where resilience thrives. Today, we honor the power of our voice to fight for a future free from HIV stigma and barriers. ❤

What a weekend, Charlotte!🌈

We loved celebrating Charlotte Pride alongside a community that continues to show up with joy, resilience, and determination. From conversations at our booth to marching together in the parade, every moment reminded us that Pride has always been both a celebration and a protest.

This year, our parade signs spoke to the work that continues: fighting HIV stigma, protecting HIV funding, and affirming that healthcare is a human right. Our “Silence = Death” signs also paid homage to ACT UP and the activists who used those words to demand action during the HIV/AIDS epidemic—a reminder of the advocacy that paved the way and the progress we are still making today.

We’ve come a long way, but the fight isn’t over. RAIN is proud to keep showing up, speaking out, and standing with our community. ❤️

After an incredible Pride weekend celebrating with our community, the RAIN office and The Drop will be closed on Monday, August 17, to allow our team time to rest and recharge.

We'll resume normal operations on Tuesday, August 18, ready to continue serving our community. Thank you for making Pride such a meaningful weekend and we can't wait to see you again soon! 🌈
