Ohm Radio Charleston Ohm Radio 96.3 FM is the first nonprofit, community radio station in Charleston, SC. We broadcast music by local, independent, and legendary artists.

Ohm Radio is Charleston’s first non-profit, community-based, commercial-free radio station! We spread the good word about what local entrepreneurs, non-profits, and social groups are doing to enhance our community. We showcase powerful syndicated content, like Democracy Now! We help unite Charleston’s diverse community of voices with original and creative programming. Ohm Radio 96.3 FM is the late

st venture behind Media Reform SC, a grassroots non-profit group that has been promoting democracy through media since 2011. We believe in free speech, the full and accurate flow of information, and the power of noncommercial, listener-supported community radio. It is our goal to offer high quality, local, low-power FM radio programming to Charleston. Truly local radio is an urgent matter because we believe that the corporate media giants distort the news and overlook what is really important to our communities. Our programming will includes local news, talk, and a wide variety of musical genres.

So grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate what we’ve built together at OHM Radio over this past year. From community partners and supporters to board members, future collaborators, and friends of the station....the room was filled with connection, creativity, and genuine conversation.

This weekend blends music, fly fishing, art, conservation, and Lowcountry community in a way that feels very Charleston! 🌊🎶

Join us Saturday, June 6 starting at 6pm @ Hampton Park where Ohm Radio will be serving up icy beers, wine, and refreshing N/A beverages in support of Charleston’s independent community radio station.

🎸This year’s Finale celebrates the “Women of Rock ’n’ Roll” with a powerhouse performance led by Elise Testone honoring legends like Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar, Alanis Morissette, Heart, and more. ⚡️🎤

We’re incredibly grateful to the and for the opportunity to be part of one of Charleston’s most beloved festival traditions alongside events like Sunset Serenade and the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable.
