🚨 CHAPLIN DAY NEEDS YOUR HELP! 🚨

Chaplin Day 2026 is coming up, and the Chaplin Recreation Commission is busy planning games, activities, and plenty of fun for the whole community! 🎉🎪

We’re looking for donations of supplies to help us bring some new ideas to life!

⭐ Large pieces of peg board
⭐ Sheets of plywood
⭐ Small plastic pools
⭐ Rings for ring toss
⭐ Solo cups in multiple colors
⭐ Gutters
⭐ Pens, pencils, colored pencils & crayons
⭐ Beads for bracelet making
⭐ Adult-size inflatable costumes 🦖🦄

Have something sitting around that you’re not using? We may be able to put it to VERY good use! 😁

Do you have a pie recipe that deserves the spotlight? Now’s your chance to show it off!

Join us for the Chaplin Day Pie Baking Contest on Saturday, September 19 and let your delicious creativity fly! Whether it’s a family recipe that’s been passed down for generations or a brand-new creation, we can’t wait to see (and taste!) what you bring.

🥧 Bring your pie to the Snack Shack between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM on Chaplin Day.

There will be an Art Show, this Thursday evening, at the Chaplin Senior Center (132 Chaplin St), from 4:30p till 7p. Artwork from Chaplin Elementary , Hampton Elementary , Scotland Elementary , and Parish Hill Middle & High Schools will all have artwork on display.

Chaplin Elementary School Preschool

🌼✨ We warmly invite you and your child to join us for a Preschool Screening, (for children turning age 3 by 12/31/2026) a gentle and playful way to take a peek at your child’s development. Think of it as a sweet little snapshot of their growing abilities—motor skills, thinking, language, and social-emotional development. ✨🌼
🌷💕 This screening helps us see if your child is meeting age-appropriate milestones. If any extra support is needed, we’ll make sure the right services are in place to help your child shine and succeed! 💕🌷

During your child’s 45-minute session, they will enjoy fun, play-based activities that explore:
