🎃👻 TRUNK OR TREAT IS COMING TO GARRISON PARK! 👻🎃

Get those costumes ready and grab your candy buckets because Chaplin Rec’s Trunk or Treat is happening Saturday, October 31st at Garrison Park! Haunted trail opens at 5:30 and goes until 7🍬🕷️🧙‍♀️

Come wander through some awesomely decorated trunks, load up on treats, show off those costumes, and enjoy a fun Halloween night with friends and neighbors!

🔥 AND DON’T HEAD HOME WHEN THE CANDY RUNS OUT…

We’ll be ending the night with a MASSIVE BONFIRE 🔥🔥🔥 courtesy of the Chaplin Volunteer Fire Department!

🏀🔥 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🔥🏀

It’s time to hit the court! Chaplin Recreation Basketball registration is officially OPEN for the 2026–2027 season!

📣 Open to students in GRADES 3–8
🏠 Chaplin, Hampton & Scotland residents

Whether your player has been playing for years or is ready to give basketball a try for the first time, we want them on the court!

Chaplin Day 2026 is coming up, and the Chaplin Recreation Commission is busy planning games, activities, and plenty of fun for the whole community! 🎉🎪

We’re looking for donations of supplies to help us bring some new ideas to life!

⭐ Large pieces of peg board
⭐ Sheets of plywood
⭐ Small plastic pools
⭐ Rings for ring toss
⭐ Solo cups in multiple colors
⭐ Gutters
⭐ Pens, pencils, colored pencils & crayons
⭐ Beads for bracelet making

Join us for the Chaplin Day Pie Baking Contest on Saturday, September 19 and let your delicious creativity fly! Whether it’s a family recipe that’s been passed down for generations or a brand-new creation, we can’t wait to see (and taste!) what you bring.
