An opportunity to show our support for the Garden Club of Windham’s work on the Garden on the Bridge! They’re $1000 away, and small donations are very important. Let’s help them cross the finish line?

“Check out this amazing one-of-a-kind custom bench that we designed and ordered for the Garden on the Bridge!
This unique Bench costs almost $10,000, but Sustainable CT offers a Community Matching Grant of up to $5000 through Patronicity, so this is a perfect fundraising match!
Installed in the middle of the bridge, the “Pinwheel Bench” will enhance the view of the river, allow for better group photographs and, perhaps most importantly, prevent vehicles from racing across the bridge.
We need at least 50 donors to show that this is a community-supported effort. The size of many of those donations can be small: all are matched 100%. Or, one can give up to $1750! (Please be generous within your personal means.)

Install a pinwheel bench in the center of the Garden on the Bridge to provide seating, viewing, photography opportunities and to calm non-pedestrian traffic.
