Next up in our leadership spotlight series are the RA’s! 🥳🥳🥳

These students are responsible for ensuring the safety of our BCLC students living in Belden Hall on campus! They each go through extensive training to be prepared for any situation that may arise while living in the dorms! 💪

Our RAs work tirelessly to make sure students have everything they need and offer their time to be mentors, friends, and role models for all students in the BCLC. 🙏📚

Stay tuned for the final post in the leadership series which will include all of our committee chairs! 👀

Next up in our leadership spotlight series is the FYE mentors!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Each of these students is responsible for being a resource to current 1st year BCLC students while they navigate the adjustment to college! 📚

FYE mentors each teach a section of the BCLC FYE course with a staff member to ensure everyone in the BCLC starts off their college experience with a bang! 💥

We’re super excited to see what our FYE mentors accomplish this year!

Stay tuned for the next post which will feature our lovely RAs! 👀

Continuing our BCLC in Brazil highlights ➡️ Up next: Rio de Janeiro!

Students had the chance to learn more about Circoola - a Brazilian startup that provides circular solutions for companies and individuals to manage electronic waste (over 400 tons of e-waste!) 💻♻️

Explored the city and had incredible opportunity to visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro
Went to the Favela and did a Capoeira Workshop (an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music) 🎶🎶🎶
and checked out the football game with Fluminense vs Bolívar - the match was played at the iconic in at the iconic Maracanã Stadium ⚽
