Windham Region Interfaith Working Group

Windham Region Interfaith Working Group Windham area congregations and other community members over several years to promote inter-faith understanding and knowledge.

We came together to present diverse community engagement thru interfaith dialogue. Since formation of this group many citizens from the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths and those who are unaffiliated have come together and discuss how to enrich Interfaith Dialogue and promote social justice. Our story just begun, and will you join us during this meaningful journey?

We hope you'll join us on Thursday at 6:30pm in Hebron to hear John Mills and Chris Barlow share fascinating (and often untold) stories of Black American Patriots.

John and Chris are true historians - but not your grandfather's type of historian. They share history through community murals, through walks along the path of Civil War soldiers, through movies, by dedicating a street -- by telling stories of people's lives.

Today, we honor the life, legacy, and enduring moral courage of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 97th birthday.

His belief that “unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality” continues to guide our work to help humanity create the Beloved Community—through justice, truth-telling, and nonviolence.

We remember.
We recommit.
We carry the work forward.
