The Carolina Center for Public Service strives to connect UNC-Chapel Hill students, faculty and community members with public service opportunities to impact North Carolina and beyond. Since 1999, the Carolina Center for Public Service has been UNC-Chapel Hill’s on-campus hub for engaged scholarship and community service. Through strong collaboration with student leaders, local organizations, facu
lty members and other service-oriented community members, CCPS strives to nurture a culture of service in the Chapel Hill community. The center promotes volunteer opportunities, shares resources and connects the Carolina community with ways to create positive change in the Tar Heel State and beyond. CCPS is home to the APPLES Service-Learning, Buckley Public Service Scholars, Community Service Scholars, and Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars programs.
