Our mission is to strengthen your lifelong connection to Carolina with a vision of bringing the Tar Heel spirit to you, wherever you are in the world. Carolina Alumni initiatives support 32,234 students and 367,007 alumni and friends of the University, creating a dynamic community that reflects the values and traditions of Carolina. On Saturday, May 9, the class of '26 filled Kenan Stadium, ready to begin their next chapter with a family of alumni and four years of Carolina memories they'll carry with them forever.

The class of '76 joined them on the field, celebrating 50 years of experiences and cheering the next generation on with high-fives. This is what Carolina is all about: a moment 50 years in the making.

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember the Carolina alumni who gave their lives in military service. Their names, inscribed in bronze, comprise the Carolina Alumni Memorial in Memory of Those Lost in Military Service. The memorial was dedicated in 2007 and is located on campus between Phillips and Memorial halls. Carolina Alumni’s award-winning online edition of this memorial includes a biographical page for each alumnus listed, along with a tool to search by conflict. It can be found at alumni.unc.edu/memorial
