As we reflect on One Weekend, we wanted to shout out Nora McKenzie & Trent Porter for their hard work making it such a success!! 💚🩵

Nora M, our Relations Coordinator, is responsible for all of the amazing benefits that are a part of One Weekend (and throughout the year).

Trent, our Campus Fundraising Chair, heads all of our fundraising efforts here on campus— from One Weekend to committee member individual fundraising, canning to on-campus fundraisers such as Pie Exec!

On Halloween, CFTK and UNC Athletics hosted the second annual Heel-o-ween at UNC Children’s Hospital! It was so much fun dressing up and doing Halloween-themed activities with the kids🎃💚🩵

Every year, our organization attempts to raise as much money as possible (through benefits as well as individual fundraising) over One Weekend— and this year, that weekend is November 15th-17th!!

Our Rocket Wash benefit is running NOW through November 17th 🚙🫧
Get your car washed for a reduced price & help the families of UNC Children’s 🩵

On Thursday (11/14) Spicy 9 is donating a portion of proceeds between 11am-11pm — don’t forget to drop your receipt in the CFTK box on your way out! 🍣🍱

On Thursday night, we’re having a 21+ benefit at Goodfellows, 7pm-close. Mention CFTK when ordering! 🍋💜

On Friday (11/15), you’ll have your chance to Pie Exec on the quad between 11am-4pm!! 🥧🤭

Get dinner at Chipotle on Saturday (11/16) between 5-9pm and show our benefit flyer (which will be posted on the Instagram story) 🌯♥️

On Sunday (11/17) stop by Panera between 4-8pm and Yopo between 3:30-9pm!! The Panera benefit flyer will be posted on the Instagram story, and you just need to mention CFTK at checkout at Yopo. 🥪🥙🍦🫐

HYFR Committee Spotlight!! 🌟

Our Hospital & Family Relations Committee, chaired by Alyssa Cappelletti, creates “moments of joy” in the lives of families at UNC Children’s Hospital. The committee is responsible for organizing Tarheel Athletic Visits, making dinners at the Ronald McDonald House, painting hospital windows, and curating crafts & activities in the pediatric playroom. 🩵🎨

Let’s hear it for Alyssa & her committee!! 💚
