The Employee Forum is excited to highlight the incredible delegates who serve our campus community.
Jennifer Young is executive assistant to the dean at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Claiming both Arizona and Pennsylvania as her hometowns, she came to UNC two years ago and joined the Employee Forum this year. She began her UNC career at the College of Arts and Sciences before moving to her current position.
“Working across two very different schools has given me a broad appreciation for Carolina’s people, its mission, and the many roles that employees play in supporting its success,” she notes.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, exploring antique and vintage shops, decorating and tackling creative projects, reading and listening to audiobooks, and staying active through Pilates and strength training.
Of her efforts with the Employee Forum, she says, “I’m proud to serve as a voice for my colleagues, learn more about the issues affecting Carolina’s workforce, and contribute to a community committed to making UNC an even better place to work.”
