The Casper American Legion has been a part of Casper for 107 years.
Just like the Rotary and Kiwana's it not about a building but it's about helping those in our community.
The Legion has been helping Veterans and their families to build a better Casper and stronger USA.
We encourage any Veteran to really think about joining our family and help us keep doing what we have been doing in Natrona County.

War is one of the most serious decisions a country can make. It sends young men and women into situations that most citizens will never fully experience. Those who return home often carry memories and burdens that stay with them for life. Many Americans believe the responsibility does not end when the mission does. Caring for veterans afterward is part of the true cost of war. Providing strong support systems is one way a nation shows gratitude for their sacrifice. Their service helped protect the freedoms people enjoy every day.

They presented 2 nice plaques for Post 2 supporting them.
We were proud to erect the flag pole at the fields last spring and will be sponsoring them again this year.

It’s about time! A true Hero!! Thankyou Capt Royce Williams, for your service.

Yesterday, at the age of 100, retired U.S. Navy Captain E. Royce Williams received the Medal of Honor. During the Korean War, he single-handedly confronted seven enemy aircraft, successfully shooting down four Soviet MiGs in what became one of the U.S. Navy’s most extended dogfights. This heroic mission remained classified for many years. Last night, during the State of the Union address, President Trump honored Williams with our nation’s highest recognition for valor in combat, noting that despite being outnumbered and facing blizzard conditions, Williams led the takedown of four enemy jets while enduring 263 bullets to his own plane. For over 50 years, this mission remained a secret, but now, this brave Navy captain is finally receiving the recognition he deserves.
