Child Development Center The Child Development Center supports kids from 3 months to 21 years. You'll find the screening process surprisingly fun for both the child and the parent.

We offer preschool and free developmental screenings, plus CDC+ services including Quick Care, audiology, OT, PT, speech therapy, and reading coaching—all in one supportive place. CDC offers preschool and free developmental screenings for children ages 0-5, including hearing and vision, thinking and reasoning skills, communication skills and physical movement skills. We also provide audiology, nutrition, and therapy services to children ages 0-21:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy improves a person's motor and sensory skills. SPEECH THERAPY
Speech Therapy focuses on communication skills, drinking/swallowing, speech production, fluency, reading and understanding, and using language. PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapy helps to improve an individual’s gross motor development which involves a person’s larger, stronger muscle groups.

🚒🐾 Community Helpers – Week 1 at Summit CDC! ❤️

Our Summit kiddos had a wonderful week meeting some amazing local heroes!

A big thank-you to Smokey and the BLM Firefighters, Evansville Emergency Services, and Casper PD Officers Price and Southcott with K-9s Buster and Reed for spending time with us and teaching our little learners about the important work you do!

We are so grateful for our community helpers! 💙👏

Fire Prevention Week starts today, and it's the perfect reminder to talk fire safety at home, not just at the center.

At CDC, our classrooms practice fire drills regularly so kids know exactly what to do, calmly and confidently. You can build that same confidence at home with two simple things: a working smoke detector on every level of your house and a practiced escape plan your kids can walk through with you.

A few tips our educators use with little ones:
✅ Make the escape plan a game, not a scary conversation
✅ Pick a family meeting spot outside and name it together ("the big tree," "Grandma's mailbox")
✅ Practice it twice a year, especially after clocks change

Small steps now build lifelong safety habits. That's development in action too.

Back to school season has parents wondering about a lot of things.

A free developmental screening at CDC answers that question in about 30 minutes, and it's not just a search for problems. It's a chance to see everything your child is doing right.

Ages 0 to 5. Completely free. Genuinely fun for kids.

Schedule yours at cdccasper.org/screenings or call (307) 235-5097.

A new school year is a good time to notice things. Maybe it's a speech pattern that hasn't quite clicked, a reading struggle that's more than just "getting used to it," or a skill that seems behind where it should be.

CDC+ offers therapy services, reading coaching, and audiology support built to catch these things early, when catching them early actually matters. If something's on your radar, don't wait for it to become a bigger conversation later.

It's 4:45 on a Tuesday. Tryouts start Monday and the coach needs a signed physical form. The pediatrician's earliest opening is three weeks out. Sound familiar?

That gap between needing care and getting it is exactly what CDC+ Quick Care was built to close. No appointment, no referral, most families in and out in about 30 minutes.
