Today at West Bay Rotary, we had the pleasure of welcoming retired Pen Bay Healthcare CEO Roy Hitchings as our guest speaker. Roy led a thoughtful and engaging discussion on one of the most important issues facing our communities today: access to healthcare and the ongoing challenge of balancing quality, affordability, and equity in our healthcare system.

Drawing on decades of leadership experience, Roy shared perspectives on healthcare access, rising costs, and practical ideas for improving outcomes while reducing barriers to care. His presentation sparked meaningful conversation and reminded us that strong communities depend on healthy communities.
