The Midcoast Community Chorus is pretty much the definition of a small arts nonprofit… Without the support of many individual donors, we simply would not be able to operate. One way we show appreciation for these wonderful generosity of these people is through our annual fall event, The Director’s Circle. This event features hors d’oeuvres, desserts, w**e and b**r, and a special short program including a solo piano performance by the legendary Matt Mainster and a selection of songs performed by a small ensemble. We would love for you to join us! The event is happening this Saturday, October 17 at 4 PM. To receive an invitation, simply make a donation in any amount above $250 by Friday, and we will email you the details. Thank you so much for your support!

You are invited to join The Director’s Circle, which honors MCC donors who support us at or above the $250 level each year and is one of MCC’s most important sources of financial support.

We have five giving levels, each with increasing perks. All Director’s Circle members are invited to our elegant cocktail reception on Saturday, October 17th and will receive a thank you in both the program and on the website. Levels of Giving:
Individual Membership - $250 - Inlcudes an invitation to the cocktail reception and a thank you in the program and on the website.

Household Membership - $500 - Includes two invitations to the cocktail reception and a thank you in the program and on the website. MCC 7-CD bundle.

Gold - $1,000 - all of the above plus a limited edition MCC tote bag. Also included is an option to sponsor a full page ad for a nonprofit of your choice in the concert program.

Platinum - $2,500 - Four invitations to the cocktail reception, plus all of the above and a collectible MCC T-shirt. When sponsoring a nonprofit of your choice for a program ad, you may also include their logo on stage during intermission.

Diamond - $5,000 - Unlimited invitations to the cocktail reception plus all of the above! When sponsoring a nonprofit of your choice for a program ad, you may also include their logo on stage during intermission as well as an option for the conductor to acknowledge them from the stage during the concert.

The Midcoast Community Chorus (MCC) invites singers of all ages and abilities to register for its Fall 2026 season. Weekly rehearsals on Monday evenings will culminate in a January 24th concert featuring a diverse selection of American choral music. No auditions are required, and people with all levels of musical experience are welcomed to join.

• Registration Dates:
Monday, September 14th and Monday, September 21st
• Late Registration Date: Monday, September 28th
• Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Doors open for registration followed by rehearsal from 6:30- 8:30 PM
• Location: Camden First Congregational Church, 55 Elm Street, Camden, Maine 04843

Vocal range checks will be available for anyone who needs one. Registration dues of $95 cover the cost of sheet music and the rehearsal space, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Another peek at the music we will be singing this fall! Come sign up on Monday, September 14th and Monday, September 21st. Registration is open from 5:00-6:30pm and rehearsal goes from 6:30-8:30pm. We meet at The First congregational Church of Camden, 55 Elm Street in Camden. Remember- no auditions are required and EVERYONE is welcome to sing. Can’t wait to see you!

Just a taste of some of the fun songs we will be working on this fall! Registration is on Monday 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28. The sign up table will be open starting at 5pm and the first rehearsals will begin at 6:30pm. The Midcoast Community Chorus Ambassador Choir will perform as part of a free concert of American music on Friday, August 21st!
7:30 pm at the First Congregational Church of Camden, 55 Elm Street, Camden, Maine 04843

Organized by our Assistant Director Matt Mainster and singer Ru Monsell, this unique 90-minute performance will feature 45 voices accompanied by piano, organ, trumpet, drums and violin. The program includes contemporary songs such as Together We Rise, historic pieces including America the Beautiful, as well as several audience singalongs.

Concert is free to all with an optional goodwill donation, 100% of which will benefit Homeworthy.
