Sign-ups start at 6:30 followed by a short set from Jade at 7 before we open up the mic - and it’s also Jade’s birthday, so come celebrate! All genres and experience levels welcome.

We’re kicking off a new panel series focused on one thing: what’s actually working for creatives in Buffalo right now.

Join us on April 13th for the first Peer Sessions, featuring three working artists from different corners of the scene—a singer/songwriter, a bandleader, and a hip-hop artist—sharing real-world strategies, lessons learned, and what’s helping them grow.

Featuring:
• Stephen Babcock — indie pop songwriter with festival appearances at NXNE & Musikfest, known for strong social media presence and booking momentum

• Emily Scripps — bandleader of Tsavo Highway, vocalist, and event producer, bringing a strategic approach to growth, touring, and audience building

• Vocero Omar — hip-hop artist focused on storytelling, independent promotion, and maintaining full creative control

We’ll dig into:
• What’s actually working on social media right now
• Growing your audience (locally + beyond)
• Booking shows and creating opportunities
• Building a brand that connects
• Staying consistent without burning out
