JCCA helps nearly 17,000 children and families every year and is consistently rated at the highest levels for the quality of our foster care, residential, mental health, care management, and educational programs. JCCA's programs in New York City, Westchester County and Long Island include: group and family day care, mental health and preventive serices, education programs, a residential diagnostic

center, foster homes, group homes and residential services for children and adolescents, preventive services, independent living skills training, adoption programs, and services to the Jewish community. JCCA programs reach more than 16,000 children and family members annually.

Community, connection, and celebration filled the stands at the Barclay's Center on Juneteenth as JCCA youth and families came together for an exciting game!

Thanks to end-of-year funding, nearly 30 participants—including parents, children, older youth, and siblings—shared in an evening of basketball, music, and joy. A heartfelt thank you to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP for treating youth from JCCA to an unforgettable day at Citi Field for the Mets game last week. From cheering in the stands to sharing laughs and making memories together, the experience gave our young people a chance to relax, connect, and simply enjoy being kids.

Come play basketball with the Shoot your Shot Club to help provide sports equipment for the children supported by JCCA.

With your help we can give kids sports equipment to “shoot their shot“ for a better life! Playing sports can support their healing and growth, and help them create new chances in their life with endless opportunities.

Please register to play. Registration will also be available at the event. www.jccany.org/shoot-your-shot-for-charity/

Your registration dollar amount will go to buy new sports equipment. In addition, if you have any very gently used sports equipment – basketballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, volley balls, footballs, golf balls, tennis rackets, golf clubs, cleats and sneakers – please bring to the game.
